9 am: Arrival of Guests of Honour, Mr. Cheng Pak Sah, MP for Bukit Gorblok
9.15 am: MP kisses babies
9.16 am: Babies start crying
9.30 am: Speech by Guest of Honour
9.31 am: Babies fall asleep
10 am: Departure of Guest of Honour to attend real NDP
11 am: Popular tunes performed by local musicians from See Leow Loh Marching Band and Funeral Services Pte Ltd
12 noon: Heritage Food Fest: An opportunity not just to sample foods that our forebears ate back in the good old days, but also to learn about cholera, beri-beri, dysentery, kwashiorkor and scurvy.
1 pm: Post-lunch nap
2.30 pm: Support local talent! Come and listen to a musical performance by Wandah bte Aidil, a local resident who nearly qualified for Singapore Idol, but suay-suay on audition day, kena flu
3 pm: Inter-RC Football Match
4 pm: Officers from local police post come to break up post-Inter RC football match fight, and also to arrest illegal bookies taking bets on inter-RC football match.
5 pm: The Bukit Gorblok Primary School History Club presents re-enactments of important historical events, including the Hock Lee Bus Riots, Separation from Malaysia and the Invention of Fish Head Curry.
6 pm: Closing Ceremony by Grassroots Leaders who werenít lucky enough to get complimentary NDP seats
7 pm: Commemorative National Day Pasar Malam. What better way to celebrate National Day than by doing something uniquely Singaporean, like buying cheapo copies of branded merchandise from guys with impressive perms and long last fingernails?
8 pm: Charity Donation Drive: Please buy a special bag of peanuts to enable the needy to buy gold taps.
