"Geragua" is Malay for shrimp. "Geragok" has evolved o mean dried shrimp, often pulverized to make a rather foul-smelling, but tastebud-awakening condiment. Through cultural association somehow, it has
also become an insensitive way to ddress a Eurasian, i.e. a person of mixed Asian and Caucasian ancestry.
